Please tell us what are your materials, the way you learned, your feeling and experience after taking the TSHOOT v2.0 exam… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…

Your posts are warmly welcome!

Exam’s Structure:

+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.

Topics of the lab-sims:

1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP

The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…

In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:

+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it

When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html

Note:

+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!

Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

    @MCV..
Don’t worry mate.. ticket very clearly tells if it is IPV4 or IPV6. Just practice Tickets on this site again and again.
Below is very useful strategy shared by one of NetworkTut user (Not mine).

“Good strategy to remember for ipv6 tickets:
on R2/R3: show ipv6 ospf neigh
    If there is only 1 neighbor listed for R2 and R3: 1+1 = 2 : R2 is your culprit
If there is only 1 neighbor listed for R2 and 2 for R3: 1+2 = 3: R3 is your culprit
    If 2 neighbors are listed for R2/R3: 2+2=4: R4 is your culprit”a

Hello everyone! I have been reading mixed experiences. Can anyone that already took the exam confirm if each ticket informs you if the ticket is for IPv4 or IPv6? Please let me know, I am taking my exam in hours. Thank you in advance! It does in some versions of the test and it does not in others the 1000 point club will never admit this due to their own foolish pride.

Huge bug with all tickets once i minimize and maximize the ticket answers get changed
i did all correct but the bug wasted my exam

i beleive this u can barely breathe in there u have to hold your breathe i wanted to do that for a nana second then it left my mind fast If u can prove this u may have a Cisco TAC

    February 21st, 2020

from the ip addresses in the description you can specify whether it is an ipv4 or ipv6. I hear u Sir, but im telling u I did not get that text in my test I looked for it specifically for a good minute or 2 ended up just pinging the .241 !!!!! to confirm IPV6

Also all these techs saying about u have to scroll down on DWS1 for that one question right? I did see this in the directions “make sure you scroll down on the menu items” or something like that

now has anyone here ever seen that text in the description ?? Just curious I think its another version/variation of the test If another tech has seen this then I stand to be corrected

The answers for the HSRP sim are “TADD”. That is, in this exact order:
    1. the onlhje mentioning TRACK issues
    2. the one mentioning ACL issues
    3. the one mentioning DISTRIBUTE lists issues
    4. the one mentioning DHCP issues…..

I did the exam yesterday and if you press on the “Ticket ” button, it will tell you exactly if it is a IPv6 or IPv4,if you still can’t see it, ping the web server, if it can ping then it is IPv6 id request time out then it is a IPv4, simple as that!!

can you or someone please tell which routers on exam have addresses –

    10.1.1.2

    Hi,

Passed my exam with 9xx marks. 24 questions. I think I messed one question. Rest all good. Same Nov 2019 MCQ, Simlets and Labs. Thanks networktut!

  23. MCV
    February 21st, 2020

    @Whatever. 10.1.1.1 is R1, 10.1.1.2 is R2 and 10.2.1.1 is DSW1.

  24. @Whatever
    February 21st, 2020

    You asked:
can you or someone please tell which routers on exam have addresses –

    10.1.1.1
    10.1.1.2
    10.2.1.1

All routers have multiple IP addresses. What the packet tracer has is not relevant to what is on the exam.

You asked: “Hy guys a i take the exam today and my score was 825, is possible to ask a revision because i have sure that i answered all the questions right! u got another version of the test besides the one on here”

There is only one version of the exam, one with random tickets chosen. The MCQs are all the same and the Simlets are all the same. All the tickets are here, and you just got different tickets than someone else here got, which is normal.
No, you cannot take a “revision” (whatever that is) of the exam. Look at your score for each section and you will see what you got wrong.
Now if every section says you got 100% correct and you did not pass, then you have a case.
Otherwise, you need to start studying for ENCOR.

It’s crunch time, guys. You only have one shot at the exam now, so get Premium so you can pass. I would not have scored 1000 without Premium here.

@Maria. From one women to another women, stop being an as**hole.

  28. @maria
    February 21st, 2020

I am sorry to hear that you failed, but all you did was insult everyone here and call them names. You could easily have been helped, but instead you lashed out. I was going to give you my Premium account, but then you referred to the people scoring 1000 in very derogatory terms, so I did not do it. It sounds like it is ENCOR for you, as you did not follow the instructions on the exam and did not read it correctly. Stop blaming the exam for the fact that you did not pass. It was all you.

Passed tshoot with flying colors. Almost aced it. One new MCQ question although similar to Nov MCQ(hint: just make sure to know the difference between spanning tree port priority and spanning tree cost).

Everything else are the same regarding SIMs and Tickets. Well that’s it for now, Hope everyone gets what they want.

BTW. I hope those who haven’t booked the exam yet, better do it now. Do not procrastinate because most Pearson Vue testing centers are fully booked.

    Good luck to all!!!!!

    :)

I had some issues with Layer 2 technologies and tickets around that topic but successfully passed the exam. This website was of great help, thank you so much!
