Exam’s Structure:
+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.
Topics of the lab-sims:
1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP
The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…
In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:
+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it
When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.
A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html
Note:
+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.
+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!
Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

passed today easily, MCQs only from Nov, BGP and HSRP sims, and tickets. Premium member, practiced 3-4 times everything
it’s so true that a deadline makes you work harder, i would’ve never finished studying. ccnp route 1 year ago and never found time to study for the other 2.
I passed the test today with a 1000/1000. Studied for a day and a half from this site. Everything 100% If you want to extend your time and give yourself a cushion before you have to dive right into the new test(s) I recommend this site!!! Thanks again.
pass the test everything is here, do not complicate as everyone thought that different things would come, my recommendation is to review the complete topology do not try to record the tikets, and review the answer to and some confusing, much comment that they fail but do not trust each team check as configured so you have an idea of everything. greetings and luck i’m already ccnp
I pass today, full score. thanks.
CCNP R&S done !!!
The exam is very easy if you study hard for ROUTE and SWITCH, and the practice of the tickets was very helpful.
I was thinking to wait for the ENARSI but some partners tellme that the TSHOT was easy so i took the chance with a few time.
thanks,
Use all the simlets and flash tickets, exam is just like them. Nov mcq are good. Hsrp, bgp and tickets all valid. Passed today after fail first time due to just using packet trace tickets. Exam is not real fault finding and all devices have limited commands. Make sue you check switch with sh int fa1/0/1 for dhcp helper over port security ticket. Switchport has port security on it but is up. Sh int status does not work
Trust the site and answers dont second quess
please help,
in BGP and HSRP labs, do we have to make changes to the configuration or is it an evaluation where you have to do some “show” commands and select a correct answer from MCQ.
@Smasher @Recent passers
Following the SAM strategy were the ips to ping from client 1 the same or did you need to check ip interface brief on the routers to get the ips to ping?
Mate just follow Sam strategy and check the layer 2,3 & ipv6 topology all IPs are mentioned on the interface……
@hsrp & bgp
In BGP you will have to write a config and no need to save the config once issued the command, HSRP all you need is show run and on R5 sh ip int brief…… and answer the mcqs accordingly.
Finally passed T-shoot yestday :)
Just click on Simlets in the upper right corner of this page and everything is explained in detail. Relax. You can do this.
Hi, I took my CCNP Route last 2017-Aug-25 and just took the TSHOOT yesterday, in Cisco Tracker, my expiration was dated on 2023-Feb-19. Does it mean I can take the 3rd exam on or before 2023? Given this will still be the case on the new curriculum.
I took my exam today and pass with high score. Thanks a lot Networktut.com! I recommend use Premium access. Multiple choices and D&D from Nov-2019. BGP same concept with different IP for neighbor. HSRP and TT are valid. During TT read carefully and take some minutes to get familiar with the environment. Regarding IPv6 TT, the issue will be R2, R3 or R4. Again, if you use the Premium access you will be good to go. God luck to all you that will take the exam before Feb-23.
Will this exam expire until FEB 24?
The last day you can take the exam is February 23rd, It is gone on the 24th.
@ConcernedCitizen Whatever you passed, on Feb 23 you will get credit for toward the new cert. There is more info on what the different tests match up with on the new certs on the Cisco website. They made it easy with their migration tool, just click what you have passed:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications/professional/ccnp-routing-switching-migration-tool.html
The good news is if you are fully certified as a CCNP by the 23rd, it will carry a lot of weight, however, if you are missing one of the CCNP tests (ROUTE, SWITCH, TSHOOT), you will need to take some new tests to be fully certified at the professional level.

Hello everyone. For ticket 4 I only see two options:
Case 1:
Configuration of R1:
interface Serial0/0/0
ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.252
ip nat outside
Ans1) R1
Ans2) NAT
Ans3) Under interface Serial0/0/0 delete the ip nat outside command and add the ip nat inside command.
Case 2:
Configuration of R1:
interface Serial0/0/1
ip address 209.65.200.225 255.255.255.252
ip nat inside
Ans1) R1
Ans2) NAT
Ans3) Under interface Serial0/0/1 delete the ip nat inside command and add the ip nat outside command.
But in SAM and NULZERo strategies I see another answer for ticket 4:
Missing command under the outside ACL NAT Traffic add 10.2.0.0 network.
Could someone please clarify? Thank you!

Could someone please clarify? Please let me know if anyone have seen this third option in the exam. Thank you!
What did you all get for drag and drop?
@MCV
Ticket 4 answer is the interface pointed at the ISP should be set to outside for NAT. The add network business is from an old ticket that has not actually been seen recently, if at all.
The info on this site becomes invalid in 5 days when the Cisco tests change so if you haven’t scheduled your exam, you might want to wait for the new one to come out.
pass exam , all questions and tickets from here, exept 1 ticket , it says it is ipv6 but there is not any failure , the only one i detect was ospf message digest missing (on r1) which i received twice.
All are here 100% passed with 1000 score today.
Passed 1000, only studied Networktut, sam’s, bgp, hsrp, multiple choice Nov. Everything current.

Remaining exam is fine. NOV pdf is really good.
