Exam’s Structure:
+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.
Topics of the lab-sims:

3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP
The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…
In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:
+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it
When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

Note:
+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

@Vlad. SAM and NULLZERO are some kind of ping “strategies” developed by those users to find where is the issue located (R1 – R4, DSW1 -2 or ASW1 – 2) and check specifically the device with the issue.
Each ticket has its own configuration for devices, that differs slightly to the other tickets?

I create my own strategy based on nullzero.
Instead of guessing, I target certain unique output that uniquely identify the ticket.

@Minevra @SDS apology for late reply, yes, all mcq from nov. Ticket were mixture of everything. In short, I recompile all nullzero strategy and erase the ticket number so I won’t be stucked with the concept of what ticket it is. And during the exam you will receive a drawing board. First thing first before even start amswering the qs, I will write out all the strategy. After writing it you are essentially sitting for an open book exam. Pass with no hassle.

For the guys that are saying that they failed due to an IPv6 ticket please keep in mind that “tunnel mode ipv6″ is not the last command. It is like below:

tunnel mode ipv6

tunnel destination 10.1.1.10
You can easily see this issue from ” sh int tunnel 34″:
R3: Tunnel protocol/transport IPv6
R4: Tunnel protocol/transport GRE/IP.
Just passed with perfect score, indeed everything is valid.
I failed about 2 weeks ago with low scores in L2 L3, and have some wisdom to share:
1. On the exam date, take it EASY. Get plenty of sleep, be at the test center ahead of schedule.
last time I had barely any sleep, arrived late because no parking and was extremely stressed.
I memorized NULLzero ping plan and drew it during the tutorial time. I did NOT have premium, it’s not necessary to pass, but I imagine it helps.

show run is not enough to find out the tickets in my opinion, you need to verify with other show commands.
Again: Take. it. easy. there is plenty of time, I finished in 1 hour and triple-quad checked all tickets.

Everything here is valid and the same real exam.
Pls be carefull and take note of the IPv6 ticket, the “tunnel mode ipv6″ is not the last command.

I jumped between Q2 & Q3 because you don’t get the right answer if you pick the wrong topic in Q2.
