This article is devoted for candidates who took the TSHOOT exam to share their experience. Please tell us what are your materials, the way you learned, your feeling and experience after taking the TSHOOT v2.0 exam… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…

Your posts are warmly welcome!

Exam’s Structure:

+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.

Topics of the lab-sims:

1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP

The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…

In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:

+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it

When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html

Note:

+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!

Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

Screw off Maria, you sound jealous and maybe your studying tatics aren’t as good as ours, and I’m real as it gets sweetie. 1000 on my test this morning. Train harder.

    @nerdyys
I just checked the Sim here and it’s there. I also had this question on the exam this morning and the option is in DSW1. If it’s not in the real exam, then I would leave a comment on the exam and possibly challenge Cisco on your score if you failed.

Passed with 900+. Everything was from this site. MCQs were from the November update, and had both BGP and HSRP sim. The Sims were the hardest for me. Hard to understand what they were asking, All tickets were from here as well. I had the premium. Scored 100% in all categories except layer 3 technologies….score 80%. Good luck, take this exam before they change everything. Good Luck people…

Every 2 days your are posting that you have just passed the TSHOOT exam, with a different score posted each time. Cisco’s exam policy is that if you pass a particular exam, you have to wait at least 6 months before your can take the same exam again. You a liar and a disgrace. So why don’t you cut out the bullshit !!!!

    February 16th, 2020

@I though I was passing – you probably messed up in the NAT ticket

  11. @I though I was passing
    February 16th, 2020

It might have been the Layer 3 Security question in addition to the IP NAT question. Make sure you are solid with those, and you should do great. You still have a few days to knock this out of the park.

    February 16th, 2020

All the versions of the exam are fully covered here with Premium, so it doesn’t matter what version you get.
My age is not important here. You are obviously just being a troll and not helping people. You might as well stop posting if you have nothing true or of value to add here.
I got Premium, used it, and scored 1000. Premium covers all versions of the exam. Everybody, do not let @Maria scare you off with her lies.

  13. Update from SL-Colombo
    February 16th, 2020

    Done and dusted.

    * Anyone taking the exam in Sri Lanka: It’s the same set of questions,
    – 24 questions : Ticekts, HSRP and BGP sims and Nov 2019 questions.

Thanks to networktut community and premium membership full marks again.

    – For BGP : Question gives you the expected output (make sure u scroll to bottom) from sh ip bgp. Make sure you enter the commands (as same as in networktut bgp SIM) and verify by entering sh ip bgp. Adding the necessary changes are enough. No need to write-memory or copy run start.
    – Go though the tickets, get familiarized with device configs, SAM-ping plan works.

    Thanks Again !!!

    February 16th, 2020

    Just passed the T-shoot guys.
I would highly recommend this site to practice the tickets.
There was nothing surprising in the exam except for one questions.

In one of the tickets, i discovered two issues (Port Security and DHCP IP helper IP set to a wrong IP) i went with DHCP IP helper because i couldn’t validate the MAC address of the PC to determine the port security issue.

    All the very best everyone.
If you have any questions please reach out to me in this email

Would you lose points if you do not use all the commands?
For example, what if I use only “show run” command?

    Thanks.
