Exam’s Structure:
+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.
Topics of the lab-sims:
1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP
The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…
In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:
+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it
When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.
A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html
Note:
+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.
+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!
Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

Thanks in advance
About those who failed by the L2 category score loss in page around 630-640, their loss points are next two points?
1) Ticket9 :trunk settings , and require “no shutdown” or not
2) Tciket13 :looked like port-security problem but acctually dhcp-helper address misconfigure
But only two tickets failed ,their score fell under 846???(score 150 point minus!)
How many score do we get for one ticket successed?
OMG guys just read CAREFULLY what people write! It has been written a thousand times that there are only November MCQ is valid, so why do you ask such things ??? if you are so inattentively reading a regular forum, then what will happen to you in the exam? people, do not be lazy and learn to analyze! Good luck!
Mark and need to know…….. Only 12 question of nov MCQ required to study
Just finished the exam 1000/1000.
Premium mem is the way + of course, know how everything works not just memorizing all the details.
All mcqs/tickets/simlet/dnd here are valid.
Used NULLZERO and SAM ping plan for tickets. Got 10 tix.
I got confused on DHCP and Port Sec scenario, know the difference. I answered DHCP.
Some mcqs have confusing questions but just stick to the answers here ;)
Simlets and D&D are very identical
Goodluck to next exam takers!

I find answer D on other site with a screenshot with prouve.
I think I failed this question during the exam
Hi all, passed today, 1000.
Nov MCQ, Simlet – BGP and HSRP, Tickets from here. One of the tickets was ticket no. 6 (VLAN filter) and I had to scroll down in the Ticket to see options ‘VLAN ACL/Port ACL’.
Thanks networktut. Good luck.
@SDS, yeah maybe that’s the difference I didnt noticed the status of Fa1/0/1
@Minevra, i just remembered DHCP, VLAN Filter (which you have to scroll down), EIGRP – no passive interface, IPv4 route redistribution (Ticket 11a), NAT, IPv6 Ospf, IPv6 GRE tunnel, Vlan access trunk, Vlan access VLAN 10, OSPF routing (OSPF authentication)
I passed today – 1000/1000 – re-cert
networktut all still valid – premium was worth every penny – thanks networktut
mcq nov only
all tickets still valid
good luck everyone
ps dont ask for ‘dumps’ as dont have any – used networktut and experience
I passed today with full mark
MCQ all of them fro Nov questions
all the tickets from here even with same IPs
2 sims BGP and HSRP
Good luck
I passed today.
I had some problem with BGP Sim.
Thanks networktut. You are best!
@Guest congrats, but what was your problem wit BGP SIM?
Just passed the exam with full marks.
BGP with different IP. HSRP same
All MCQS from November
10 tickets
Vlan filter, DHCP helper, switch to switch connectivity, EIGRP passive int, Route redistribution, OSPF authentication, IP NAT, DOT1q, R2 ipv6 and R3.
Not a single work change. Just do it.
Finally CCNP
Just passed full mark.
All MCQs from November + HSRP and BGP simlet
All tickets were in the list with a variation for ticket 12 (no ipv6 ospf statement at all under the serial, it does not change the resolution).
Is the solution NAT or IP NAT? I have seen both posted on here before
@TEst Friday
IP NAT
@Guest alright, I got it, thanks.
@ Everyone still waiting to take the exam,
– Study the Nov MCQs and the old MCQs if you can to be fully prepared for any curve ball Cisco might decide to throw at you.
– Go through all the tickets and SIMs (HSRP and BGP) on here and make sure you understand the concept of each of the questions (Cisco like to reword answers just to mess you up).
– Develop your own troubleshooting strategies if you cannot follow the ‘SAM or NULLZERO’ Strategies.
– Do not trust everything you read in the comment section as there are people posting wrong info to mess you up.
– DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH ON ALL THE CONTENTS.
*** GOOD LUCK ALL ***
Hello
Has HSRD and EIGRP ticket been removed from the actual exams?
