Note: The last day to take this TSHOOT 300-135 exam is February 23, 2020. After this day you have to take new Enterprise exams to get new CCNP Enterprise certification. If you want to find out more about the new exams please visit here.

This article is devoted for candidates who took the TSHOOT exam to share their experience. Please tell us what are your materials, the way you learned, your feeling and experience after taking the TSHOOT v2.0 exam… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…

Your posts are warmly welcome!

Exam’s Structure:

+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.

Topics of the lab-sims:

1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP

The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…

In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:

+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it

When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html

Note:

+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!

Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

    Passed yesterday.

Everything you need is here in premium section, it’s worth every penny.

All of the MCQ, simlets and labs are here, nothing new, nothing changed.

Practice all the labs from premium section at least 3 times.

In the exam you need to issue “ping ipv6 ” for IPV6 tickets.

Autocomplete command with TAB key is working.

In the Ticket section of the exam lab it states very clearly if it’s an IPv4 or IPv6 ticket.

As I side note, I did not use SAM/NULL ZERO ping plan, just follow basic troubleshooting steps (ping, ping ipv6, show interfaces Fa1/0/x, show ip ospf/eigrp neighbors, show running-config, show vlan brief, show interfaces trunk).

Please any one sure. i have exam tomorrow:

int the TICKET 4: NAT ACL
which answer is right i Q2: is it NAT OR IP NAT

  6. Anonymous
    February 11th, 2020

@Minevra : there’s only one option regarding NAT among possible answers, does it really matter if it’s written IP NAT or just NAT ?

  7. Minevra
    February 11th, 2020

    @Anonymous

I have these two options in the exam, I know

    Hello everyone,
    I just passed with 1000/1000 :)
Everything from Nov 2019 is still valid, just be calm and follow the Nullzero or SAM strategy and you’ll be fine.
Just wanna say thank you to the community for all the help and support, I completed all 3 exams and finally acquired the CCNP Routing and switching certificate.
    Best regards.

@Minevra : There’s just a single NAT option to choose from, stop stressing with this and do the labs.

    February 11th, 2020

    Approved!!

I failed the exam last week but this time I managed to pass and get all the points. You have to be very careful because it is a test that has many traps.

The final answer of ticket 9:

    a) ASW1
    b) Switch-to-Switch connectivity
    c) In configuration mode, using the interface range port-channel 13, port-channel 23, then configure switchport trunk allowed vlan 10,200 followed by interface Fastethernet 1/0/1, then no shutdown commands.

    Regarding ticket 4.

    IP NAT

    Ans1) R1
    Ans2) IP NAT
Ans3) Under interface Serial0/0/1 delete the ip nat inside command and add the ip nat outside command.

    Regarding BGP.

    BGP:show ip bgp summ:

    209.165.227.2

    show ip bgp summ

    show ip bgp

Do not forget to perform the lab to check the changes. Do not let save but seeing that the changes have been made is enough.

    show ip bgp summ

    show ip bgp

For the rest all the premium material of networktut is enough to approve by taking out the 1000.

Many thanks to networktut and to all who have helped me.

Good contribution of Last_Few_Days from on page 639.

    “Last_Few_Days

    Hi All,

I have created this strategy from SID, SAM and NULLZERO in details, still adjusting and providing more details.

Please help to validate and let me know for errors.”

    https://ufile.io/jwhd09al

    It is a good summary.

I also followed Sum ping strategy, also validates that of nullzero.

    I am finally CCNP!

people who passed please assist me- Vlan filter DSW1 if you select that in exam the next questions are totally different only if you select ASW1 you can find the vlan filter statement. Can you please help how did you answer this one?

  25. ssrr11
    February 12th, 2020

Premium membership is all you need.

    Passed the exam today!

All the 12 MCQ are from Nov dump
2 Sims – HSRP exactly the same, BGB with different IP address but with same AS number
10 Labs – IPv6 does not ping local interfaces like 2026::222:2, 2026::333:3 etc and “sh ipv6 int br” does not work in the exam if thats part of your strategy.

Just get the premium membership, practice the labs and questions and pass the exam. Its very easy if you have the premium membership.

Thank you Networktut and everyone. Good luck to people who are about to take the exam.

    Hi Guys,

    passed the exam today; 1k

    here’s what I got;

    BGP and HSRP SIMS
    10 questions from NOV2019
    10 Trouble Tickets
    T1
    T4
    T6
    T7
    T9
    T11b
    T14
    T15
    T16
    T17

I used NULLZEROs approach which was good to Isolate the problem to just few Trouble Tickets you choose from. and from there check all the tickets example if you can ping 10.1.1.1. problem would be in tickets T3,T4,T5 compare the configuration that should be there example T3 is BGP check R1s Router BGP and see if the neighbor IP is misconfigured if not go on to T4 which is NAT check interface going to ISP if interface has ip nat inside if it is then that is your problem. memorize the ticket and NULLZERO approach you are good to go.

Advise: from what I see in the forum everyone got BGP and HSRP SIMS so memorize those two and the 12 MCQ in Nov2019. the tickets vary so memorize all tickets and where the configuration should be.

good luck guys 1 more week to go. lets get CCNP Certified!
thank you guys love this forum and everyone that shared their experiences with the exam.
