To solve ticket port security, you shoud use command: “show ip interface” to get port status, If have any port’s status is down then port security is correct answer.

I hope that clarifies for you why the ports are up and port-security shows violations.
My advice is check the mac address in the port-security statement with the show run , identify if that mac add matches the client 1- WHERE DO U FIND MAC ADDRESS OF CLIENT 1?? i have an idea, but i want someone from the real test to answer this?

what is the hsrp sim consist of ???

Took the test 2 hours ago and score 1000. Only Nov MCQs were on the test.
BGP sim, HSRP sim, and the tickets are all the same as here.

I got the NAT Ticket and for some reason R2, DSW1 can ping to 209.65.200.241 on that ticket but Host01 can’t ping to 209.65.200.241.That confuse me a little to identify the ticket.
All the others ticket were ok.

@alucard hey can you please share which tickets you got? I’m so nervous I have already missed this exam 3 times. I got 80% in infrastructure security and 70 in L2 anyone can tell what I maybe doing wrong??

yes thats what I want someone who has taken the real test to answer I dont know if u can do a ipconfig /all or not?? to get the mac -? i dont think @here even no what that is but i am assuming no one here has tried to get the mac of client 1 that way ?? I guess u can do a sh mac-address table on DSW1 to see if any macs are learnt, but it would be nice to know the mac of client 1 regardless

Please take care on the IP NAT Ticket on exam- all the devices can ping public ip except client. but the outside interface having ip nat Inside .

@Liza I got IP DHCP helper.

The others ticket were, NAT outside misconfiguration, Redistribute route-map with wrong name, ports that has to be in access mode instead of trunking, Port channel not allowing vlan 10, VLAN Filter, OSPF Authentication, IPV6:Enable OSPF, IPV6: remove tunnel mode ipv6, EIGRP passive interface.

u know the average 952 score shows that some of the tickets here are not FULLY correct all 3 entries – I just checked the vlan/acl answer is to remove vlan filter test1 vlan-list 10 command which tells the switch to filter on Vlan 10 only ok so the other answers there are correct to b/c they eliminate the filter also. the ones getting 1000 know this and they dont pick ALL the answers on this site not that im complaining just sayin to these 1G marks

Just passed with 1000. All MCQs from Nov. BGP & HSRP Sim. All tickets are valid.

@Liza, run command “show mac address” from the switch? if mac on fa1/0/1 matches, then not a port security issue.

Hi guys, I passed today with 1000/1000 . I am so happy :)) I can explain if you have any questions. All premium is valid here. MCQs are valid. Sıms are valid. All in november dump. I got %100 on Layer 2, so i can say there are a few dilemma , So some people say tickets are not true in Layer 2 ,that is a lie, i solved all ticket maybe 10 times and all was the same and correct coz i get full point. I can say for sure that :

I have a different methodology for solving tickets and it is %100 usable. I will share soon.

Sat the exam and passed today. All premium member material still valid. All MCQs and two DnD from Nov still valid. BGP and HSRP are valid. All tickets are valid also. Total 24 questions on the exam.

Hi guys, I have a different methotology than Sam. My strategy is:
First check Client if it gets ip or not,if it gets ping Default gateway(10.2.1.254) from Client if it pings that is great go to Routers.
Try to ping 209.65.200.241(server) from R4,R3,R2,R1.
Check which router can not reach server. So the problem must be between the router can & cannot reach. Check for those possibilities. Use neighbor command, dont try to only memorize the answers. If you do basic tshoot the tickets are really easy, I am saying this coz I failed first time i took that exam when i memorized the answers, and today i passed 1000/1000 coz i studied the tickets .
If the ticket is Ipv6 (which there were 3 in my exam) ,chech for ipv6 routing table by command “sh ipv6 route “ on R4,R3,R2 if you see 2026::102:1 in routing table thats great, on which routers between you can & cant see that 2026::102:1 there will be a problem, lets say you see in R3 but cant see in R2 ,so the problem is between R3 and R2, check for that config. (which is interface s0/0/0.23 in this exam ) when you check that it is easy to see there is a ospf neig problem.
Always use ip ospf neighbor ,ip eig neig ipv6 ospf neig command to check if there is a problem.
If the client doesnt get Ip ,it is easier. Check for whether ip dhcp helper is 10.1.21.129. If it does check for Dsw1 and Asw1 conf , these are really basic layer 2 problems.
I can say for sure that :

@morarica i dont have any dump , go to premium MCQ page you will have chance to practice the real exam ,, also you can use real lab tickets also, i am telling you guys ,premium is really valid, and it is only 1 monthe left for the big CCNP change, get your certificate now, if you have any problem with understanding the logic of yhe ticket you can ask me. And LAYER 2 tickets are %100 correct , coz i did the same and get %100 on Layer2

Hey All – just finished the exam yesterday (Jan 10th). Perfect score. MCQs are from the Nov 13th set. Take your time with the tickets and verify once you think you have the answer (for example. if it’s a VLAN Access issue – run a ‘show vlan’ to see if it’s associated to the port).

one the BGP sim, make sure you do ” sh ip bgp” after you finish the command and get the same result as the question provide. i almost did it worng. i put the wrong command it should be:
i put : neighbot 209.165.201.2 remote-as 64520
Correct: neighbor 209.165.201.2 remote-as 64525

the “sh ip bgp” saved me
