Note: The last day to take this TSHOOT 300-135 exam is February 23, 2020. After this day you have to take new Enterprise exams to get new CCNP Enterprise certification. If you want to find out more about the new exams please visit here.

This article is devoted for candidates who took the TSHOOT exam to share their experience. Please tell us what are your materials, the way you learned, your feeling and experience after taking the TSHOOT v2.0 exam… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…

Your posts are warmly welcome!

Exam’s Structure:

+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.

Topics of the lab-sims:

1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP

The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…

In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:

+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it

When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html

Note:

+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!

Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

Hey.. I got some tickets today where you can’t ping 10.2.1.1 and when you check dsw1, helper address and vlan filter is not present. Then when you check asw1, vlan allowed list is ok. , Vlan is active, port assignment is in correct vlan and access port is not down or errordisabled. What other ticket is this?

  5. TheDude
    February 11th, 2020

Done it! 846…made 2 stupid errors on ipv6. All from premium one to one! Thanks networktut!

  6. Heylulli
    February 11th, 2020

The hosts had ip addresses but c1 couldn’t ping c2. What other issue could it be?

  7. Heylulli
    February 11th, 2020

I got 825. I did everything correct.. but 2 tickets where I could not find any issues on asw1.. so I guessed both as switch-switch connectivity. Then the last sim I actually got the switch-switch connectivity and I automatically knew the other 2 guesses were definitely wrong

If you can ping 10.2.1.1, so the problem on R4 side…need to enter “show ip eigrp neigh” and check configuration

    @Heylulli
Sorry, my mistake, ignore previuos message. So, ports of clients1/2 was in access mode? not trunk with encapsulation dot1q??

    February 11th, 2020

@Heylulli Was it APIPIA address on the clients?

    @Heylulli maybe ticket 17….

    February 11th, 2020

From what I recall I couldn’t find any access port issues (correct vlan’ and port mode), ‘show interface’ didn’t show errordisabled or down, client had ip. Chances are that I could have missed out on some config or read incorrectly but since I solved the other tickets and this is just basic access vlan stuff prompts me to think of any new tickets exist? Or maybe it was a port sec issue. I’ve heard only ‘show interface’ can verify that problem. Can you use ‘show interfaces status’ or ‘show port-security ‘????

    @APIPA

my bad, I should say people who fail with dumps.

  15. Heylulli
    February 11th, 2020

Does the premium have any more info? What other issues if not a problem with port-mode? Check vlan’ brief to see if client vlan’ 10 is active and ports assigned, check vlan filter and helper address( dsw1), check if client interfaces are up/up(portsec). What else to check? See if the trunk and port channel are formed? For that, port-channel is up/up. BUT in output of ‘ show interfaces trunk’ there are 3 lines of output( allowed vlan’, active in mgmt domain, in stp fwd state and not pruned). The 3rd row( in stp fwd state and not pruned) showed only 1 vlan’ listed while the rest showed 2 vlans listed).

@Heylulli could it be a new ticket?

No new tickets or MCQ, everything from this site. The exam is not that hard but you must have some knowledge. Everyone how wants to be a CCNP should know what he’s doing and pass this exam. The question here from some people are partly below CCNA. So learn and know what you are doing! Cheers

In NAT Sim, what is the correct answer?

    1. Under interface Serial0/0/1 delete the ip nat inside command and add the ip nat outside command.

    2. Under interface Serial0/0/1 add the ip nat outside command

Guys first of all let me thank everyone who has contributed to this site and the second thing that I would like to state is that the Tshoot-NOV_2019 dump is still vaild. I passed the Exam with 980 score just now.

    One again thank you everyone.

Did it today. Nov MCQ, BGP and HSRP SIM and the remaining tickets were all there. TSHOOT premium is all you need. I don’t think Cisco is going to bother to change the MCQ so close to the switch over date.

Gotta say thanks to the guys who created the site. The cost of the exam adds quite a bit of pressure and I’m pretty sure that I wouldn’t have passed it much less got full marks on the first try without networktut. Thanks guys!

    @Blessed
do the command ” sh ip nat statistics ” and sh run.
if you see the 2 interfaces inside then check the topology. The correct answer is the first that you wrote.

if you see the interfaces outside the one of two must be inside. check topology and answer.

    see my detailed report.

    Ans1) DSW1
    Ans2) VLAN ACL/Port ACL
Ans3) Under the global configuration mode enter no vlan filter test1 vlan-list 10 command.

Ans 2 and 3 are only fill if you answer AW1 on the first question. I guess they changed the ticket a little bit.

BGP lab is the same concept with ip change for EIGR adj.

    1. Study
    2. Go for premium
    3. Use the strategy
    4. pray your god..

Hi Solid snake. Thanks for answering. But my question is, if I see whether ip nat inside or ip nat outside in an interface, do I need to delete it first then add the right command or do I just need to add it?
