Exam’s Structure:
+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.
Topics of the lab-sims:
1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP
The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…
In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:
+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it
When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.
A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html
Note:
+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.
+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!
Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

What is the next step to troubleshoot the issue?
A. Verify HQ Router and Firewall are in the same VLAN
B. traceroute to the WAN IP address of HQ
C. Ping the LAN IP address of the HQ router
D. Check MTU between BR and HQ
The answer ‘C’ supposed to be “Ping the LAN IP address of the Firewall”???
@Dzo IP NAT , if you choose the right fault location (R1) , IP NAT should be the only option to choose, if my memory serves me correctly.

ONce you identify WHERE the issue is….are the answers from there easy to select or is it just as tricky fomr there…the ping plan makes it easy to identify the where and I am gray as to the final issue present at that location
Hi team , can you build and share an APIPA concept easy to understand bcuz google is not very academic with this prefix. Regards
Guys, just follow Sam’s ping plan if you do not understand APIPA concept. Not knowing it (you should know if you passed your CCNA) will not cause you to fail the exam. It’s just a faster way to troubleshoot but not essential. Memorize Sams ping plan and draw it out when you do your exam, they provide you with pen and clipboard. That’s all you need.
guys, most of the PPL that passes said they had in D&D (HSRP, virtual mac). I actually didn’t find. Where could I find them?
Thanks
me too dont find (HSRP, virtual mac) can u get them here in a message please
Question 5
Drag drop question about debug commands.
Answer:
Debug condition standby -> display debug messages related to HSRP
Debug condition glbp -> displays debug messages from virtual MAC address 0007.b400.0101
Debug aaa authentication -> displays debug messages related to determine the users’ identity
Debug aaa authorization -> displays debug messages related to determine the users’ permissions
Hello. Who took the exam today? Are the questions still the same?
Hi all.
I just passed about an hour ago. 1000/1000

Hi @Just passed. Congrats! How about the MCQ, drag and drop and simlet. Still the same from
November?
What about MCQ? How mush it in exam?
Hi Guys,
I’ve just passed 1000/1000.
All still valid.
just passed the exam, and every question and ticket are from this website.
i would strongly recommend to follow NULLZERO strategy and you’ll be ok.
don’t try to ping from another devices apart from PC1 for IPv4 tickets as it will confuses you when things works which it should not be for some tickets.
the only thing i didnt see in the scenario tickets is mentioning if the ticket is IPv4 or IPv6 or maybe i didnt see it however you just ping from PC1 to the serve over the ISP network if reachable its IPv6 ticket if not reachable then its IPv4 ticket.
Nov Questions
BGP and DHCP
good luck everyone!
I Passed, networktut. You the best.
Passed, I used NULL0 strategy, thx man for made that. Go for premium for practice and study; I strongly raccomand it.
About the exam: 2 new questions about tunnel gre; nothing difficult, just how to set source and destination in configuration. I have had only problems with the T6. I found the “vlan filter test1 vlan-list 10” line but not able to answer
Ans1) DSW1
Ans2) VLAN ACL/Port ACL
Ans3) Under the global configuration mode enter no vlan filter test1 vlan-list 10 command.
Ans 2 and 3 are only fill if you answer AW1 on the first question. I guess they changed the ticket a little bit.
BGP lab is the same concept with ip change for EIGR adj.
1. Study
2. Go for premium
3. Use the strategy
4. pray your god
Hey guys,
are the questions same for all candidates in TSHOOT exam?
My country doesn’t let me use the paypal, So, I can sen payment for premium membership. if someone passed and shared the premium account with me for a few days I’ll be appreciated. I can share your premium cost with cryptocurrency if you are ok too. I can pay with XRP and ETH.
Many thanks in advance.

@morpheus Did you use scroll bar on second page of VLAN ACL quesion? If so I think you should be able to find this answer for DSW1 too.
ClearExam , everything from networktut only
(1) BGP , HSRP , All MCQ
(2) Ipv6 : ipv6 Tunnel , Area 0
(3) Ipv4: VLAN filter,
OSPF Authentication,
NAT Inside,
DHCP Helper-address,
EIGRP Passive Interface
Switchport trunk,BGP Neighbor ,
Redistribution Route-map(ospf_eigrp)
I recommend to follow NULLZERO strategy step wise , you will clear Exam .
further any help drop email i will try to help
Thnx NetworkTut and also who mention comments here
@Just Passed,
Congratulations, there is also one point:
Ping 10.2.1.1 -> OK-> R4: Sh ip eigrp nei (is there a neighbor?)
NO (with Eigrp process 1) – EIGRP – Change AS number 1 to 10.
Not morpheus here, but yes I had to use the scroll bar, and yes I found it on DSW1.
@morpheus:
You say you had a new question about tunnel gre, is that the question where you have to remove the tunnel mode ipv6? Because that’s on this site (ticket 15).
Anyhow, I passed last week, 1000/1000, didn’t have anything new on my test. MCQ’s were from Nov ’19.
The ticket is very specific about IPv4 or 6. It tells you the problem is either you can’t ping the server (IPv4), or R1 can’t ping the LB on DSW2 (IPv6).
yes its required bcoz answer 2 is downbelow , be careful in this question
@morpheus were those 2 new questions MCQs?
I’ve seen in comments a few people mentioned about GRE MCQ question that is almost the same as DnD (tunnel source and dest). Can’t find it in Nov’19.pdf and I guess that’s what morpheus is talking about.
I got the ticket in my exam.
Ping 10.2.1.1 -> OK-> R4: Sh ip eigrp nei (is there a neighbor?)
NO – IPv4 EIGRP routing – Int fa0/0 & 0/1 “no passive-int” <—- This was the answer!!!
There was nothing with changing the AS number!
@ApipaAnswerer,
You don’t get it. I didn’t say this is not the right answer, you can have another 4th option depending on the Eigrp process number when you check: sh ip eigrp nei on R4 like below:
Ping 10.2.1.1 -> OK-> R4: Sh ip eigrp nei (is there a neighbor?)
1- YES – IPv4 route redistribute – route-map OSPF->EIGRP change to OSPF_to_EIGRP
2- YES – IPv4 route redistribute – route-map EIGRP deny 20 -> permit 20
3-NO (with Eigrp process 10) – IPv4 EIGRP routing – Int fa0/0 & 0/1 “no passive-int”
4- NO (with Eigrp process 1) – EIGRP – Change AS number 1 to
Hi guys, just passed with 1000/1000. The exam is really very easy to pass, no difference in tickets/simlets/MCQs. I had a premium account, and I strongly suggest everybody willing to take this exam to spend some money and get Premium: TSHOOT is not similar to SWITCH or ROUTE and Premium gives an excellent opportunity to “touch” the real exam and see what do the tickets look like.
So that is it, I’m finally CCNP. A bit confused even :)
Good luck to all!
