Note: The last day to take this TSHOOT 300-135 exam is February 23, 2020. After this day you have to take new Enterprise exams to get new CCNP Enterprise certification. If you want to find out more about the new exams please visit here.

This article is devoted for candidates who took the TSHOOT exam to share their experience. Please tell us what are your materials, the way you learned, your feeling and experience after taking the TSHOOT v2.0 exam… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…

Your posts are warmly welcome!

Exam’s Structure:

+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.

Topics of the lab-sims:

1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP

The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…

In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:

+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it

When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html

Note:

+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!

Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

@rj_rick I can only repeat, what you can see on the linked picture: on the exam ‘Click the “Ticket” button and you will see a short description to identify IPv4 or IPv6 ticket’

IPv4 tickets: clients can’t ping the ipv4 web server
    IPv6 tickets: R1 router can’t ping the DSW1 IPv6 loopback ip

    I made the exam : scored a lot :-)

Thanks networktut , thanks SAM strategy and thanks to everybody who helped here. This forum is great.

Everything is valid here. ALL THE TICKETS!!! . Same Ip addresses. NO MCQ questions from September, only November. Tickets are exactly the same.

Pay for the premium, 22$ is just a couple of beers, and it will save you a lot of time , instead wasting time picking up shit from the internet.

Didnt know very well all the technologies, but studied hard for 5 days and i already have some experience at work. The key here is to put in your head SAM strategy. It is a must IMO , so you wont get lost in the tickets, cause its easy to think yre solving other ticket . The only thing you will know by the ticket , is that if it is an IPv4 ticket or IPV6, looking to the addresses they give you. If it is an IPV4 ticket , you will see IPV4 addresses in the text, if it is IPV6 ticket, you will see IPv6 addresses, simple as that.

However all the IPv4 tickets have the same issue (client 1 cannot ping webserver) and in IPv6 tickets you will find (of course) IPV6 addresses, but tickets have differences.

If yre in a hurry to certify, to save time, my opinion is to do a kind of reverse engineering before the exam. Read the tickets and try to understand medium the topology and the main configurations. Using that strategy, you will still have some doubts in what ticket are you solving in exam, but than is the time to use SAM strategy, so you have a structure to follow.

Of course, each one uses their own method. Im just telling what i made to succeed.

I practiced a lot in networktut premium tickets. Solved the all tickets maybe 4 times and solved scrambled so i dont memorize unconsciously which ticket i was solving. For example : solved T27 , T28, T24, T37, T22,T31 than in the second time , T31, T28, T24, T22. That will be the real situation you will be in the exam.

Just a note cause i was confused before in relation to ticket 4 (it was in exam)

Dont be confused with the subject of this ticket here in networktut (it says Ticket 4 – NAT ACL) but theres nothing to do with ACL . ACL was the old question. Focus on the 2 cases of nat inside/outside. Its very simple to realize what is wrong . I think networktut should change this subject cause confuses students.

I had 2 drag and drops – IP Phone (Question 5) and Question 12 (related to GRE Tunnel and what is missing in the configuration- very simple)

    NOTE :

@Solid snake – Ticket 9 was in the exam, and there is the option in the end “no shutdown int fa1/0/1” . The port was down in the exam. So you must made something wrong in your exam.

I have premium account 2 weeks more, but im not going to share it cause its not fair to networktut. They do an amazing job.

Good luck guys, and dont be afraid of exam.

    @ wahme92:

What ticket you are asking about ? If ticket 9 then the answer was :
    ASW1
    Switch to switch connectivity
under interface Port-Channel 13, 23, add vlan 10,200 and then no shutdown interface fa1/0/1
    Does that help ?
