Your posts are warmly welcome!

Exam’s Structure:

+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.

Topics of the lab-sims:

1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP

The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…

In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:

+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it

When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html

Note:

+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!

Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

    @Please help.
What are you talking about??? The problem in ticket 13 is in DSW1, the wrong ip helper IP address…..

    What is your doubt exactly?

Hi guys i have a question. Are you using the MCQ that can be downloaded from this webpage for free or premium? I have my exam the next week and i just finished reading the book.

  5. @Finder
    February 4th, 2020

I am using Premium. I may be wrong, but I think the PDF is missing at least one question.

Hi all, What APIPA is on SAM strategy?

  7. Haloa
    February 4th, 2020

    Question.
The ticket number 1 on networktut will be the same on the real exam or its random?
For example during the real exam, the ticket number 4 will be the same that ticket number 1 on networktut?

  8. @Haloa
    February 4th, 2020

The tickets, MCQs, and Simlets will all be handed to you randomly. No, the numbers do not match.

  9. @coca de vidrio
    February 4th, 2020

APIPA is a concept that was introduced in CCNA, and it is very basic. Please just Google simple terms like this.

    February 4th, 2020

Maybe those that don’t know what APIPA is shouldn’t be taking a professional level networking exam. It would make these comment pages a lot easier to read. A lot of bullshit in these comments from people who don’t have a strong understanding making authoritative statements.

if Apipa also dont know, pls dont have CCNP under your name. It’s a shame

@Ghost or Ghost-2 whoever said “Sams Ping Plan didn’t really work on some tickets.” can you shed more light to this?

  13. OnlyPrincess
    February 4th, 2020

@DM 2020 – can you provide more info to your 3 ‘unknown’ tickets? What was the output from Client2? I read from previous comments that there were bug that Client1 can not ping, but Client2 can. Maybe process of elimination (surviving mode on) which amongst the 17 tickets did not appear (considering like what you said no ipv6 tickets)?

    February 4th, 2020

@Vbip how many questions are in the MCQ? should I check the November MCQ alone?

  22. Delwans
    February 4th, 2020

    Hey Ghost,
Regarding the double problem tickets: did you have the option to answer double? How do the answers look like? Because since you have to choose in what technology the problem is, it’s impossible to choose NAT I’m the ospf process, for example.

I think you mixed it up cause you were nervous… In any case, congrats!

  23. Delwans
    February 4th, 2020

Regarding knowing or not APIPA. It’s as easy as Google it. Being honest, people are studying in their own language, and the CCNP has hundreds of abbreviations and I’m 100% you don’t know many of them, specially the ones you studied in the very beginning.

Guys, you are in a website looking for the answers of an exam so I’m not sure that you are the most indicated persons to talk about shame… Please be a bit more humble, I’m CCNP since 2 years and even though I read many basic questions, it’s a pleasure to answer them, because people can be confused if they don’t have experience.

    February 4th, 2020

    Just failed.

MCQ’s and simlets are spot on.

There were two problems with DSW1 that I couldn’t figure out.

Ipv6 questions on here are all good.

The testing interface is like being back in the 1990’s, most normal commands don’t work so practice using only “sh run”, and forget copy and paste!

  25. That_Guy
    February 4th, 2020

I think that Ticket 2 HSRP track is still on the exam

  26. Crack_T-Shoot
    February 4th, 2020

Can some one let me know where i can find the dumps for T-shoot

  27. Ghost
    February 4th, 2020

    Some More Details to clarify:
Sams Ping Plan worked on 3 tickets for me. I then pinged from other devices & did Traceroute. Almost all ticket had the same config on ASW1. 1 ticket had Port-Sec, IP Helper problem…I went with IP Helper although I could see Violations but yh…
They didn’t have 2 options, you can only go with 1 problem ofcourse so I had to spend good 40 mins to decided. As I have said before this was rare so need to panic. Any other questions let me know.

  28. CiscoMan
    February 4th, 2020

@Ghost, mate anything other than this one you struggled? You mentioned NAT and OSPF as well? What was that?

  29. Twice
    February 4th, 2020

    @tshoot exam
Did you check “sh int fa1/0/1” because i think this is a bug you see shut on the sh port-security command but not in the interface… be carefully, that’s all.

  30. Ghost
    February 4th, 2020

@CiscoMan that was when all 3 problems were on the same ticket. I went with NAT. Mate my score was 850 so you guess how lucky that was. I thought i’d fail when i saw those tickets.
