Exam’s Structure:
+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.
Topics of the lab-sims:
1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP
The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…
In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:
+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it
When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.
A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html
Note:
+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.
+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!
Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

can anyone out there please tell me if premium membership is worth it and please tell me what are added advantages of becoming premium member
Passed today, thank you networktut.
No premium account and used packettracer for training.
Why is difficult to see the VLAN ACL/Port ACL option?
Can you give me some advice, please?
Thank you
@laga if you were to ask me out of all exams, for t-shoot becoming a premium member is a must. Without it you won’t under anything. Buy it its only £17.
Hi guys. I try to understand this exam.
If I remember answer of ticket 1 to 17.
During the real exam, if I have ticket 1 but don’t remember the typology and just the answer on this site, I will be the same?
So ticket 1 on networktut = ticket 1 on real exam?
or not?
Also during a ticket we need just to answer to 3 question or resolve it too by using command?
I don’t understand this part
Kelvincenka: The difference is everywhere. Those are 2 absolutely different technologies.
The premium membership is a differance of pass and fail why people whould not want to support this site from suplying this sort of help is beside me by paying you dont only get access to more materials you are supporting the guys to carry on remember without this site it would be pretty difficult to pass and most of us would agree with have used this from ccent to ccnp level support the people who have opened doors in your carreer and stop being tight its £17 to be rewarded with a great cert!
— I failed with 840…
4 new questions (I didn’t see in ‘NOV_19.pdf), and many different IP address, Interfaces and other but logic is the same.
In BGP LAB – copy run start not working.
In the ticket there are too many options for answering on the second choice (technology),
When choosing a solution (the third answer), the answers are also quite misleading and some are close in contrast to some symbol. If you have not prepared in advance, you have to spend time reading and searching for a trap.
Тhis is the most idiotic exam I have ever attended, with no lesson and something that is memorable and useful.. All you have to do is adapt to the idiotic jam and the cut-off commands typical of the CIsco.
@Newbie – Yes, the topology is the same. Тhis is officially provided by the Cisco site (https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/thread/10965). The idea is not to waste time learning about topology in the exam. They have found otherwise in a limited way interfere with making this stupid test.
Ticket on the exam are not numbered.
Good people, please assist to troubleshoot Trouble ticket 4-NAT ACL.
R1 is reachable from Client 1 as per the Sam’s strategy. I have run the command Show Run on R1.
What next?
@anonym1us
I past last week and found the exam buggy but very enjoyable i got dead on the pass mark so was lucky but i know the tickets where i made mistakes the questions are exactly the same as nov but they do look diff because they have the images/cli showing as long as you have premium the pdf is missing some its that could be misleading in the exam.
Hi guys,
I have to pass TSHOOT exam next week, in order to recertify my CCNP R&S. As I see, there is a valid “NOV_19.pdf” dump file, but I cannot find it anywhere. :(
Could you please tell me where to find it?
@AB hey man, taking exam soon. The guy above flopped it, any advise ?? Got me shook nw lmao
Hello All,
RE: L2/L3, IPv4, IPv6 Topology
Are the diagrams will show for certain trouble tickets?
@CCNP
Here brother (https://www.networktut.com/questions-and-answers)
Hi to All,
If you’re already familiar with SAM Strategy, here I created a summary in simple text. You can copy & paste this to notepad:
1.Client1> ping 209.65.200.241 YES – iPV4; Go to step 2 | NO – iPV6; Go to step 9
2.Client1> ping 10.1.1.1 YES – [R1](BGP,IP NAT,L3-sec) | NO – Go to step 3
3.Client1> ping 10.1.1.2 YES – [R1](OSPF Routing-Auth) | NO – Go to step 4
4.Client1> ping 10.2.1.1 YES – [R4] – Go to step 5 | NO – [DSW1](DHCP, VLAN ACL); Go to step 6
5.R4> sh ip eigrp nei YES – [R4](Route Redistribution) | NO – [R4](EIGRP Routing)
–
6.DSW1> sh run Check (ip-helper)&(vlan filter) | NO – [ASW1]; Go to step 7
7.ASW1> sh ip int br YES – [ASW1](Port-sec, SW-Sw) | NO – [ASW1]; Go to step 8
8.ASW1> sh vlan NO – [ASW1](Access VLAN, Access VLAN )
–
9.R1> ping (2026::1:2) YES – Go to step 10 | NO – [R2](iPV6 OSPF – Area 0)
10.R1> ping (2026::34:2) YES – [R4](iPV6 OSPF – RIP_Zone)| NO – [R3](iPV4&iPV6 – Tunnel)
Hi all,
I just passed the exam 1000/1000.
All questions are from this site!
HSRP and BGP labs
MCQ of November
Tickets
Topology is the same as they posted here also all the IPv6 and IPv4 addresses.
Just pay attention on the IPv6 Tickets that the ping is not reach the same network as it reaches in the simulator here.
For example :
Ticket 15 – IPv6 GRE tunnel
In the simulator here the ping reaches until R3 2026::34:1 BUT on the real exam it doesn’t, it reached until 2026::1:2.
Thanks networktut!!
@ghost so heres my advice
do not rush and panic relax you have 2 hours for 24 questions.
as you do one ticket write down on paper what the answers you have answerd so you dont get mixed up for example do one write down
R1 > nat > authentication
R4 > EIGRP > Redistribution
that way you wont mix them up and also you know how many tickets are left you get 10 more than 2 wrong you fail.
the test environment is ok but its not as good as the networktut is which is really annoying.
@ab thanks man. I understand, cisco always tries to throw u off. Im good with the tickets tbh. Hopefully mcqs don’t change. Im only scared coz its alot of money also not many days left so ya know, family would f me up hahah .
Only using sam strategy, nothing else so i don’t confused myself
@ghost
Its amazing what exams can do to people even me i lost my cool.
MCQs just be wary that they look diff but the answers are the same some of the questions even in premium dont have the same images but they where the easiest on the exam.
@Star Lord,
Congratulations Man!
Also thanks for the update the Nov MCQs is still valid.
I hope EPICRIFF also passed, we haven’t hear from him yet.
@Ghost,
We can do this brother. Believe in yourself.
I trust CISCO won’t changed the exam until 23rd. Hahahah
@ghost – the Sam strategy is the best
@1ManTim haha yh man, i’ll let you guys know when i pass :) They shouldn’t change but you those fu ckers lmao
@ab it really is, been using it since day 1
^know
shit cant even type haha
@AB @Ghost
have exam on this tuesday and absolutely not expecting any surprise lol.
Hope MCQ’s will remain same. can see in previous months that when they change they change all MCQ’s in exam rather than 1 or 2.
Plus people are scaring with bugs etc. bit worried
@CiscoMan yes that’s the only problem here. They always do that, happened in switch alot. Anyways good luck mate. Just use your strategy & go with it
Thanks mate. This is the last one in my ccnp so worrying me more. but fingers crossed. :)
When are you sitting in exam?
in 2 days
Good luck to and me then.
