Your posts are warmly welcome!

Exam’s Structure:

+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.

Topics of the lab-sims:

1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP

The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…

In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:

+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it

When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html

Note:

+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!

Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

    @JJ
Where did u get those questions??

  2. IPv4 vs IPv6 ticket
    January 28th, 2020

I’m here to bring a little relief to those that are freaking out regarding how to tell if the ticket is an IPv4 or IPv6 ticket. When you are taking the exam you will be presented with a scenario, across the bottom the scenario that allows you to select R1, R2, R3, R4, DW1, DW2, ASW1, ASW2, Client1, Client, then finally ticket. When you select the ticket and actually read it will tell you if the issue is with client 1 trying to reach the web server via an IPv4 address or if the issue is with R1 trying to reach DSW1 via IPv6. So long as you click the ticket and read for a second then you should be able to very quickly and easily tell if the ticket is IPv4 or IPv6.

Those of you with premium access, the scenario we are presented when we select a ticket on networktut is very close to what you will see when you select the “ticket” tab on the actual exam.

For those that don’t have premium access, select the “ticket” tab on the actual exam and read, what you are looking for will be at the bottom when it offers you the recap of the issue.

The post above is exactly correct. Well said.

  4. @ipv4 vs ipv6
    January 28th, 2020

yeah, that makes sense. I wouldn’t expect them to hand you a big topology like this and just be like “something aint doing something and things aint a working” without some kind of idea as to what the issue is. I mean if you think about it, is that even how it works in the real wold!?!

Normally we have clients or someone tell I “I can’t access google from my phone or pc” or the “file share isn’t accessible from my workstation”

I wouldn’t think that Cisco would just be like “here, look at this topology…now tell me whats not working right”…..

Also, if you guys have premium access, click the “welcome premium members tab” it literally tells you exactly what IPv4 vs IPv6 just said about how to tell if the ticket is ipv4 or ipv6 ticket (it even offers you a picture so you know what to look for.

@IPv4 vs IPv6 ticket and @Neb , after selecting the “ticket” tab can we go back and check the scenario and able to select R1,R2 so on for finding out the problem? I am taking the exam this week. Please help me.

  6. @Krixs
    January 28th, 2020

Correct, you can move freely within the ticket, this includes being able to select any device, once you answer the ticket and select “next” you will not be able to go back to that specific ticket though.

  7. Neb
    January 28th, 2020

Yes, you can keep going back and forth within the ticket only. Once you click on the “Done” button, the ticket button turns red and you have to move on to the next ticket or question. So make sure you don’t hit “Done” until you have finished answering the three question per ticket.

  9. Exam Question
    January 29th, 2020

For those that have premium access, have taken and passed the exam. how many of the MCQ did you study? I keep seeing that the Nov MCQ on networktut are enough to pass and are the only questions seen on the exam but I don’t know if that is true or not. Anyone able to offer some insight?

I have been looking over the last 4 MCQ (Nov Sept, Aug, and June). Is this overkill or should I go back even further?

  10. Neb
    January 29th, 2020

I did the same as you are doing, but I only saw the 12 MCQs from November.

  11. @Neb

  18. @ REPLACE WWW BY . to AND GET DUMPS
    January 29th, 2020

You have no shame !! Every 2-3 days you keep on posting that you have passed the TSHOOT exam, with a different score each time. All for the sake of trying to advertise fake DUMPS. You are making yourself look like a complete IDIOT if you think those who regularly read the feedback here are going to be taken in by a FOOL as yourself. You only have just over 2 more weeks to keep posting your CRAP messages before 23rd February arrives, then what are you going to do !!

I failed the exam last week and just pass this week with 1000/1000.

Please follow the NOV 2019 PDF. ALL you need follow there. I wanted to highlight some confusing items that make me fail last time.

    1- VACL (must delete vlan filter test1 vlan-list 10)
2- Switch-to-Switch Connectivity (must used no shutdown on Fa0/1)
3- IP DHCP Helper (Do not fooled that this is port-security issues it is not) please check whether DWS1 ip helper is the culprit.

I did this three wrong so I do not want others to be like me. Please be careful guys

I’ve just passed the exam 1000/1000. The Nov MCQ and all of the tickets are still valid. Medyo iba lang hitsura ng ibang MCQ dahil may diagram pero pareho pa rin ng sagot.

Alhamdullilah just cleared the Tshoot paper

Guys, go for the premium membership its worth it, its basically ur cheat answers for your exam.
All MCQs and D&Ds are valid.
I got 10 tickets all same having the same configuration like in the simulator provided by networkTut

Think this as an investment to your career. Make sure to just practice tickets and find a good plan to ace them. Memorise those and you are good to go then.

    Any questions?

Guys, just look at Burik’s comments a few pages back, I’ve proven all of them to be true.
