Note: The last day to take this TSHOOT 300-135 exam is February 23, 2020. After this day you have to take new Enterprise exams to get new CCNP Enterprise certification. If you want to find out more about the new exams please visit here.

This article is devoted for candidates who took the TSHOOT exam to share their experience. Please tell us what are your materials, the way you learned, your feeling and experience after taking the TSHOOT v2.0 exam… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…

Your posts are warmly welcome!

Exam’s Structure:

+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.

Topics of the lab-sims:

1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP

The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…

In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:

+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it

When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html

Note:

+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!

Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

    hi guys, just passed today – 10 T, 2 Sims, 2 D&D, 10 MCQ
    everything is here on netwroktut!

shared or not already here I dont know, but I will do –
    – on the T you can NOT use “show int status”… nah..bulshit
    – on the NAT Ticket, I could ping 209.65.200.241 from DSW1 and all 4 routers , where it should work only on R1 I think… this is kinda misleading :/

Just dont rush on the exam, you have enough time for everything. even dou I new all Q and T still I red everything carefully!

I didnt use SAM strategies or what ever … those are for people , who has no idea what are they doing on the exam. If you relay on strategies like that, thats simple not for you!

If any question please ask …

    @Kopi ,,,,,,,,

Will I able run ” show interface fa0/0/1 ” like those commands ?
or Am I allowed only sh run & sh ip route ????

@Kopi congrats mate but having a strategy isn’t bad, its smart, saves you alot of time so just because you never used it doesn’t mean its wrong. Dont be STUPID

    January 28th, 2020

yea, I think I used couple of those, so its possible… but I think they want from us mainly to relay on “shuw runn” and recognize the issues from there , just a thought…

    January 28th, 2020

@ Kopi,,, one more quick question.
What about show ip eigrp neighbor or show ip ospf neighbor / sh ip eigrp interface ?

    Will it work ?

  6. kopi
    January 28th, 2020

@R , not that I didnt have MY strategy , I did. What I was trying to say is , that if you relay on strategies like SAM or what ever there are out there… trying to memorize those and go for the exam, I wouldnt do that… I know I did cheat by joining networktut, but thats mainly because 300$ is a lot of money for me! I can explain all my answers on 99% why I didn answered that, but not that etc. People , who would go on the exam with SAM strategy in hands only can not. Sorry, who is stupid now?

  7. kopi
    January 28th, 2020

    @Saji
all commands that you mentioned above will work

    @ Kopi,

If u have time please update us what are the commands u have used in the exam?
    much appreciated.

@Kopi bruh you’re still stupid. You paid for the membership & admitted it yourself that you felt like cheating. Netut gives you everything which you used but a simple strategy is wrong ?? Read before you speak it.

    show runn (of course)
    show interface XXX
    show interface tunk
    show ip interface XXX
show ip ospf nei / int
show ip eigrp nei / int
show ip bgp , + summ
show ip route, show ipv6 route
    show ipv6 int XXX
    ping
    traceroute

    ipconfig

I dont rememmber if ‘show access-list’ actually worked, maybe did …

I think that was pretty much all

I passed the exam with full marks. MCQs were from November update. All the trouble tickets and simlets are still valid.

I used only premium membership on networktut to study.

@kopi, did you use premium or just the pdf??

  20. Henriko
    January 28th, 2020

    @Kopi
I understand your point of view and that’s wise to do in the real life, but not in an exam based on a simulator that might be buggy.
Guys, don’t ever trust a simulator. Follow a certain strategy to pass the exam. Then, you could show off your skills on real gear at a real job.

So just got back …Passed… only study 12Qs from November..nothing new. everything is in Premium here
    BGP, HSRP simlets
    I had the following tickets

    1- APIPA, switch to switch connectivity..add vlan 10 to po13 and 23
    2- IPV6 R3 had tunnel mode ipv6
    3- R1 ospf authentication digest
    4- IPV6 enable ospf on s0/0/0.23 on R3
    5- R4 OSPF_TO_EIGRP route-map
6- R4 Passive int default in eigrp
7- HSRP tracking wrong int on DSW1
    8- APIPA…DHCP helper add wrong on DSW1
9- R1 IP NAT inside instead of outside for internal networks.
10- DSW1 blocking routes due to test VACL
11- ASW1 has trunk port instead of access for client 1 and 2.

Good luck..and like I said this morning..once again.. Fu*KKKKKKKKK TROLLS

@kopi Thank you for listing the commands we can use for the check. What about the ping ipv6 adresses? Is it “ping 2026::1:2” or “ping ipv6 2026::1:2”? Thanks in advance!

    January 28th, 2020

    Hi,

HSRP track ticket is included in the exam? To solve the tickets its neccesary to add the commands in CLI and check or just mark the options?

  26. Neb
    January 28th, 2020

    Just passed today with 1000/1000

Everything you need is here in the premium account.
Do not listen to trolls, nothing has changed.

    I had:
BGP and HSRP simlets. Same as in here, except the ip address on BGP was different. No big deal.
I had 12 MCQs. Exactly as on here from November.
    10 Tickets:
    1,4,6,9,11a,12,13,14,15,17

Stategy is simple. You can use your own. I first looked at the ticket tab, which will tell you if it is Ipv4 or Ipv6. If Ipv4, ping from the client to the main devices. R1, R4 DSW1 etc. If Ipv6, ping from R1. This will tell you where the problem is.

    Good luck everyone!
    I wish you luck.
