Your posts are warmly welcome!

Exam’s Structure:

+ Some Multiple choice & drag drop questions
+ 2 Simlets
+ 15 lab-sim Questions with the same network topology (15 troubleshooting tickets or you can call it one “big” question). Each lab-sim is called a ticket and you can solve them in any order you like.

Topics of the lab-sims:

1- IPv6
2- OSPF
3- OSPFv3
4- Frame Relay
5- GRE
6- EtherChannel
7- RIPng
8- EIGRP
9- Redistribution
10- NTP
11- NAT
12- BGP
13- HSRP
14- STP
15- DHCP

The problems are rather simple. For example wrong IP assignment, disable or enable a command, authentication…

In each tickets you will have to answer three types of questions:

+ Which device causes problem
+ Which technology is used
+ How to fix it

When you press Done to finish each case, you can’t go back.

A demo of the TSHOOT Exam can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le37/le10/tshoot_demo.html

Note:

+ In the new TSHOOTv2, you cannnot use the “Abort” button anymore. Therefore you cannot check the configuration of another ticket before completing the current ticket.

+ We have gathered many questions about TSHOOT exam and posted them at TSHOOT FAQs & Tips, surely you will find useful information about the TSHOOT exam there!

Below are the topologies of the real TSHOOT exam, you are allowed to study these topologies before taking the exam. It surely saves you some invaluable time when sitting in the exam room (Thanks rrg for sharing this).

    I would say

    D. In configuration mode, using the interface range port-channel 13, port-channel 23, then configure switchport trunk allowed vlan 10,200 followed by then no shutdown commands. interface Fastethernet 1/0/1

    @Andrew
    It should be D
    Allow Vlan 10,20

If choose allowed Vlan none then both interfaces cannot communicate with Vlans !!
I think it’s D let’s see what other Engineers think about the answer thanks !!

Have you verified the condition of interface f1/0/1??

@andrew…. It is D, i’m so sure for that!

    January 14th, 2020

My opinion is that d is correct if we don’t have another answer that no shut the fa.

Yesterday I wrote that we have another solution for ipv6, how to find the correct answer. I don’t give you the answer because I don’t want to confuse you with that.

If you have learned with ping go with that.

I check both solutions, mine and ping and the results are the same.

    Thank you.

Additionally, I want someone to answer Andrew about that ticket.

Someone that passe the exam with full mark points.

Here we are to help each other and no confuse. So, if someone is so sure about the answer could respond to us.

    Thank you

    Anyone pass the exam today?

  8. Can someone just answer this
    January 14th, 2020

Hi there, is the MCQ solely based on the November update (12Qs) or the entire set of MCQs?

  9. SJ
    January 14th, 2020

Passed today with 923. All questions were from Nov dump. 12 tickets. Be careful as I did not see
an ipv6 address in the scenario so I had to use the process of elimination along with SAMs plan. If you study the material on this site you will pass with no problem

    January 14th, 2020

    @SJ
Thanks for the information. I know the tickets aren’t problem, you can apply ping or SAM method, the “key” are the MCQs that could change in anytime.

passed the test today with 1000. had a total of 24 questions. MCQs were all from the Nov dump. had BGP and HSRP simlets. If you pay for the premium membership and use it for studying, you should have no issues passing the exam.

in most of the tickets you will find this conf

    R1
    interface Serial0/0/0
    description Link to R2
    ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.252
    ip nat inside
    encapsulation frame-relay
    ip ospf message-digest-key 1 md5 TSHOOT
    ip ospf network point-to-point

—ip ospf authentication message-digest” not exist. Never!!!

but you will find it is activated under the OSPF conf
    router ospf 1
    area 12 authentication message-digest

only in ticket that have a ospf auth problem, you will not find it active under the sh IP opsf neighbor. be careful.
