Network tut 17 I have the exam can you put the famous lab at least to see what it is please

    May 14th, 2022

I passed ENARSI yesterday and just want to share the information with you all and especially to NETWORKTUT.
I spent about 4 months reading and doing labs for 2 hours a day, 4 to 5 hours on the weekend. OCG is not going to get you passed alone, I used CTB Nuggets, OCG and plenty cisco documents matching what’s asked on the exam blueprint. I signed up for premium here, and went through those 330 questions available in 5 days thoroughly and passing composite quiz more than 10 times.

Now, on the real exam: There is really a sim lab, it was about BGP routes on customer site and ISPs, loopback interfaces, weight, local preference. There are 4 tabs for console access on those routers, long 5 tasks to fulfill and topology diagram was hard to fathom.

There is no way anyone can complete the 5 tasks without wasting bulk of the time. Everyone doing troubleshooting knows there is no way to sit down and you can figure out the problem in 10 – 15 mins, not even CCIE in real life. So that was really unfair, however I believe that didn’t count against my passing score anyway.

For NETWORKTUT, 300-410 is changing before our eyes. I only saw about 30 to 35 questions that are on premium access which are those non-diagram questions. I have 62 questions and the rest of the questions were most L3 technology questions and quite a bit AAA questions.

I spent all the time given on the exam up to the last minute, and happy that I saw “Congratulations, you have passed the exam” on the screen.

And when I login to VUE to check score results:
    L3 Technologies 94%
    VPN Technologies 91%
    Infrastructure Security 69%
    Infrastructure Services 80%

I think ENARSI is harder than ENCORE in terms of all those diagram questions. Now there is a sim lab involved. (BGP, MPLS, OSPF sim labs thus far that I heard of.)

Networktut did a good job on this site, but you got to prepare for yourself.

Good luck to everyone taking the exam soon, may the force be with you.

    Thanks for good input, FYI2.
Someone said he only scored above 80% in one section and 50-60% in the rest 3 sections, didn’t even attempt SIM lab but still passed exam so they might have lowered passing mark… given this new change of exam format… this sux anyway…

I heard someone passed scoring only 80% in one section, 50-60% in the rest, didn’t attempt SIM but still passed. maybe cisco lowered passing mark?

Could anyone explain about QUESTION 55?
    I think it’s B.

    Question 55
    Refer to the exhibit.
    R1(config)#ip prefix-list EIGRP seq 10 deny 0.0.0.0/0 le 32
    R1(config)#ip prefix-list EIGRP seq 20 permit 10.0.0.0/8
    R1(config)#router eigrp 10
    R1(config-router)#distribute-list prefix EIGRP in Ethernet0/0
A prefix list is created to filter routes inbound to an EIGRP process except for network 10 prefixes. After the prefix list is applied no network 10 prefixes are visible in the routing table from EIGRP. Which configuration resolves the issue?
    A. ip prefix-list EIGRP seq 20 permit 10.0.0.0/8 ge 9
    B. ip prefix-list EIGRP seq 10 permit 0.0.0.0/0 le 32
    C. ip prefix-list EIGRP seq 20 permit 10.0.0.0/8 ge 9
    ip prefix-list EIGRP seq 10 permit 0.0.0.0/0 le 32
    D. ip prefix-list EIGRP seq 5 permit 10.0.0.0/8 ge 9
no ip prefix-list EIGRP seq 20 permit 10.0.0.0/8
    Answer: D

    @Epik
For new enarsi 5 on premium. I saw question 1, 4, 5 and 7 only.

  9. at00001b
    May 15th, 2022

    @nkrjp

The question asks that all routes be filtered except for network 10 prefixes.

Looking at the prefix-list EIGRP used to perform the filtering:

    sequence 10 is a deny-all rule
sequence 20 is a permit only 10.x.x.x/8 prefixes rule – which have already been denied by sequence 10.

    Step 1
A rule to filter all network 10 prefixes is needed as only 10.x.x.x/8
prefixes are permitted by sequence 20:

    ip prefix-list EIGRP seq # permit 10.x.x.x/8 ge 9

permits 10.x.x.x/8 prefixes and all possible subnets (all network 10 prefixes). Answers: A, C and D are possible answers.

    Step 2
The next step is to place the deny all rule after the rule permitting 10.x.x.x/8 prefixes and all possible subnets.

Looking at the answers only answer D does this.

    Hope this helps.

Could anyone explain about QUESTION 69?
    I think it’s C E.

Which two components are required for MPLS Layer 3 VPN configuration? (Choose two)
    A. Use MP-BGP for customer routes.
    B. Use LDP for customer routes.
    C. Use a unique RD per customer VRF.
    D. Use pseudowire for Layer 2 routes.
    E. Use OSPF between PE and CE.
    Answer: A C

    May 23rd, 2022

passed the exam on 20/5 all multichoice questions are available in the premium. had a lab which was MPLS. Thank you Networktut for the hard work!

  20. jayman
    May 23rd, 2022

@nkr, I believe the answer should be A and C. For Layer3 VPN routing protocol between PE and CE could be anything, it doesn’t necessarily have to be OSPF.

MP-BGP should be used to route customer routes aka vrf(Option A)
    Each vrf needs a unique RD(Option C).

Just passed the test, premium is more than enough and do not listen to anyone saying it’s not valid.
by the way, Pearson vue says I passed but I have to wait for Cisco to review the test and let me know if I passed or not, not sure what is this mean, any ideas?

@BSC DID U TAKE THE LAB? CAN I PASS WITHoUT LAB?

  23. BSC
    May 25th, 2022

@GIEST, That’s what I did, I simple skipped the SIM, I didn’t even waste time on it. So, answer to your question if I passed then I believe you can pass too. Good luck to you.

I,ve Passed the exam today finally! There was a SIM LAB but I’ve skipped. I think its not harm your score at all “its just a try from cisco” so just skip it. Most of the Q-s are from Part-5-4-3 but there were 5 new questions in it.
Cheers you Guys and dont worry the dums are valid! Thanks for ntut!

Could anyone explain about QUESTION 90?
I think it’s AE because when configure the route reflector we should specifying the IP address instead of the name of the BGP peer group.
    *********
    Refer to the exhibit.

While troubleshooting a BGP route reflector configuration, an engineer notices that reflected routes are missing from neighboring routers. Which two BGP configurations are needed to resolve the issue? (Choose two)
    A. neighbor 10.1.1.14 route-reflector-client
    B. neighbor R2 route-reflector-client
    C. neighbor 10.1.1.2 allowas-in
    D. neighbor R4 route-reflector-client
    E. neighbor 10.1.1.2 route-reflector-client
    Answer: B D

@ananomous can you tell me where I can find the dump please.

  27. Epik
    May 28th, 2022

passed it. I didn’t have a lot from part 5,(only 3-4 Qs) but had very diversed questions from each topics + part 1-4. Studying all topics (and carving Q + answers in brain) is a must for this exam. Also I had about 10 new questions, new DND was ICMPv6 message types, such as Router Solicitation (ICMPv6 type 133), Router Advertisement (ICMPv6 type 134), etc.
SIM was configuring OSPF authentication and some other tasks but I skipped it anyway. Some new AAA questions as well. Good luck all and thanks a lot, N-tut.

  30. Donald
    May 31st, 2022

Just passed the exam. I didn’t have the part 5 of the questions, so I don’t if the new questions I got were on this part. From the other parts (1-4) I got ca 50% of the questions. There was a lab about OSPF authentication with 5 tasks. I performed the 2 firsts tasks (authentication and priority) and skipped the other 3. The D&D question mentioned by @Epik was also present (type 133, 134, 135, 136 and 137.
I recommend you all to know all the questions and whys of the answers, then you will be able to answer the new questions.
    Good luck all!
